Would you go louder than this? I am thinking about getting a X-pipe/tune

Generally within neighborhoods I try to keep things quiet when coming or going. Granted I can’t do anything ab out the initial startup.

Sounds great with the Borla, no need to be louder. In general, an X pipe will make the exhaust somewhat quieter on any V-8. I’m sure that applies to the high revving beast in your E92 . Plus, it won’t irritate the neighbors quite as much..

I’m not worried about my other neighbors, just the ones RIGHT next door. My garage faces the side their master is on.  I imagine they’ d be annoyed every morning waking up to that.

Ive been thibking about the ATAK or UUC Corsa for a long time now. Now that im out of warranty i might actually do it with a HFC x pipe.

Last week I added a Macht Schnell race x-pipe  (no cats, dual resonators) to my ‘11 E93 M3 with a Dinan back section. It definitely increased the exhaust volume, but beyond the cold start it isn’t too bad while I’m in the neighborhood. I’m getting a tune shortly that I plan on deleting the cold start, so that should solve the initial startup cacophony...
